Why we started

Too many people around here have heard the same line: “It’s 15 years old, you need a new one.” Sometimes that’s true. A lot of the time it’s a sales quota talking. We started Porchlight to be the company that tells you what’s actually broken and what it costs to fix it.

How we work

• Fix it before we sell it. Every visit starts with a repair quote. Replacement only comes up when the math says so.
• Price on paper first. A flat price, written down and agreed before a wrench turns. No surprise line items.
• The porch light’s on. Heat and AC don’t break on a schedule, so a real person picks up nights, weekends and holidays.

Who we are

We’re a local crew based in Munster. No call center, no “comfort advisors,” no commission. Just techs who’d do the work the same way in their own homes, because a lot of them live on the same streets as you.
